ASHLEY JUDD AND PATRICK DEMPSEY IN "FLYPAPER"
I've always loved Ashley Judd, she is so charismatic and so unbelievably beautiful, and she had such a promising start, but I just don't know what has happened to her later on. She kept starring only in thrillers, never made some groundbreaking performance,
and somehow just got stuck in B-league instead reaching the top as she deserves. I was so excited when she was supposed to play Catwoman, but then Halle Berry took the role and we know what kind of disaster the film was after that. And now Ashley has a new role. Together with Patrick Dempsey she will star in the bank heist comedy "Flypaper" and according to "MovieWeb" this will be her first role after not working for a year to get her graduate degree at Harvard. "Flypaper" will tell the story of a bank robbed by two different groups of crooks at the same time. However, they both get upended by a secret enemy (Patrick Dempsey), as he tries to save the bank teller (Ashley Judd) he is in love with.

EXCLUSIVE: FIRST CONCEPT IMAGES OF "THOR" COSTUME
Ok, so after we've seen the concept images of Captain America's costume yesterday, today the Net is swamped by the similar concept images of Thor's costume, but this time Marvel hasn't really confirmed whether this one is real or not. Off course it doesn't mean we can't study the look of Chris Hemsworth in these pics. Do you like it? I'm not really amazed, I've expected something more spectacular and more stylish, this costume looks a bit too rough for me, but we shall wait and see whether it's the real costume or not.
As you know, directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth "Thor" will follow a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth and forced to live among humans as punishment. Once here, Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

THE FIRST CONCEPT IMAGES OF "CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER" COSTUME
After we've seen many different fan-drawn images of Captain America's film costume last week all around the Net, it seems that "Ain't It Cool News" has the real deal - these are the first concept images of the costume which will be worn by Chris Evans in "Captain America: The First Avenger".
As you can see, Captain will wear an army helmet instead of the original hood, and the blue colour of the whole costume will be less vivid than in the comics. As you know, "Captain America: The First Avenger" is out in July 2011 and stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper ...

EXCLUSIVE: FIRST ARTWORK FROM "XERXES" THE "300" PREQUEL BY FRANK MILLER
Here's a real treat. "Dark Horse Comics" has just released the first artwork image from the upcoming comic book "Xerxes" by Frank Miller, which is basically a prequel to his comic book "300" which was adapted into
one of the most famous epics ever. "Xerxes" should be made into a new movie by "300" director Zack Snyder. Xerxes rose to power in fifth-century-BC Persia and became known as "The King of Kings" eventually raising and leading a massive army intent on ruthlessly destroying the hated Greeks who killed his father. He wanted nothing less than to become a god himself. The time frame of "Xerxes" begins 10 years before "300" and the story starts with the Battle of Marathon which was extremely difficult to draw as Miller said himself. The lead character of the book and of the possible movie is Themistocles, who became warlord of Greece and built their navy. The story will cover a much greater span of time - around 10 years, and will be very complex, with many details such as the conflict between Athenian naval fleet and the Persian fleet, the conflicts between spies, gods, warriors...

IS "KICK-ASS" AARON JOHNSON A NEW CYCLOPS OR MAGNETO IN "X-MEN: FIRST CLASS"
This story has been the number one mystery around the Net last few days: is young Aaron Johnson going to put on a new super hero suit after playing the lead role in
"Kick-Ass" recently? He was spotted on a meeting with director Matthew Vaughn and James McAvoy last week in London, which immediately raised rumors about Aaron possibly getting a role in "X-Men: First Class" which is being directed by Matthew Vaughn (who also directed "Kick-Ass") and we already know that James McAvoy got the part of young professor Xavier in it, so which role could Aaron get? Guys over at "SlashFilm" suspect it could be either the role of young Scott Summers, aka Cyclops, or the role of young Magneto. What's even more interesting about this mystery is the fact that earlier this month Aaron has met with Bryan Singer (the man who was supposed
to direct the "First Class" in the first place) about the role in "Jack the Giant Killer", the project that stopped Singer from helming the "X-Men" prequel. Since Singer is still producing "First Class" did he draft Aaron for the role of Cyclops or Magneto then?

GUILLERMO DEL TORO OFFICIALLY LEAVES "THE HOBBIT" PROJECT
OK, so the news which is pretty much the hottest item this Monday is the one about Guillermo Del Toro officially leaving the helm of "The Hobbit" adaptation. In an official press release he said that he can no longer cope with the constant delays of the start date of the filming, which is forcing him to delay the other of his future movies. As he said, after nearly two years of living, breathing and designing a world of the Middle Earth, he had to take leave from helming "The Hobbit".
Del Toro is still co-writing "The Hobbit" screenplays with Philippa Boyens, Fran Walsh and Peter Jackson. The two-part movie is supposed to have Cate Blanchett, Ron Perlman, Hugo Weaving, Ian McKellen and Andy Serkis in the cast. Who do you think will take the helm instead Del Toro? Peter Jackson himself, his buddy Sam Raimi, or someone else?
