A candy buffet is the perfect addition to a 50s style wedding reception. We had a candy buffet at our own wedding instead of favours, and it was a huge hit with kids and big kids alike!

By their very nature, candy buffets have a retro feel and bring back childhood memories of visiting the sweet shop for a quarter of Rhubarb & Custards. Consider giving your buffet a retro sweet shop feel with glass jars, scoops and paper bags, or choosing colours to match your scheme.

The Vintage Wedding Fair
As many of you already know, the UK's first vintage wedding fair was held in Harrogate last weekend. I thought you might like to see some snaps taken from the day. There was plenty to see and do ranging from vintage wedding dresses to retro transport!
Claire lennon (pictured), vintage hair and make-up artist was on hand for demonstrations to make sure visitors to the fair looked the part! And for those in need of a vintage style mid-shop refreshment, The marvellous Tea Dance Company was at their service with tea and cakes!

Amy Winehouse's tour plans for 2010 revealed?
Amy Winehouse looks set to tour in September 2010, according to her goddaughter, singer Dionne Bromfield.13-year-old Bromfield, who released her debut album 'Introducing…' last month, says she's itching to tour but has been told to wait until she's a bit older. However, she admitted that there are plans for her to head out on the road with "a certain somebody" next year.

"Don't listen to talk of Amy getting remarried to Blake – it's a lie. She is happy without him," she said
