Lani Loves Prints, Especially Mixed

I had no idea who Nicola Roberts was until a couple months ago; She's well-known in the UK for being in pop group Girls Aloud. She won me over with this song and music video. It's no secret I'm obsessed with prints and mixing them.

If you haven't done it before, wearing two or more prints might seem intimidating, but it's actually quite easy and super fun. I've put together a video with a few "how to" tips.

I actually recorded this video last summer, but my computer died shortly after so the files disappeared into the digital abyss. I only recently recovered the movie files to put together this video.

Now that you've got the know how, here are some pieces for inspiration and mixin'.

Boxing Kitten "Sue Cutout Dress"
, 249.00
This black and white number would look great with a colorful belt or patterned scarf worn as a belt.

Nicole Miller x Indego Africa "fabric wrap bracelets", $25.00

Nicole Miller x Indego Africa "wrap skirt", $65.00

I'm loving Nicole Miller's collaboration with Indego Africa, which supports artisan co-ops of Rwandan women. The colors are bright and playful, just asking to be mixed and matched.

Suno "buttondown shirt", $177.50 sale ($355.00 retail)

Suno is one of my favorite lines right now. They are the masters of prints. This top would look great tucked into a tan or pastel floral skirt.

MinkPink "Call of the Wild Maxi Skirt", $98.00

I love leopard and stripes, individually and worn together. This leopard print skirt would look great with a navy & white striped top.
