How does Jana Knuaerova do it? No matter the hair colour, clothes or situation, she always manages to pull it off so well. And now she's gone and done it again for Vogue Russia, rocking three equally daring looks, from the matching pink hair and eyebrows over an icily-white face, to a bleached Mohawk. Basically, it just works so well, we're tempted to try it ourselves at home...

W ¦ Art Institute, Starring Linda Evangelista

The legendary Linda Evangelista stars in W's Art Issue. The issue, which is bursting with creative energy couldn’t have chosen a better super-model to depict a fallen society dame and a gilded Madonna. Photographed by Pierpaolo Ferrari and styled by Camilla Nickerson, Linda is shot in an exquisite variety of outfits from demure black dresses to provocative lingerie, all of which she pulls off with her unwavering charm and charisma. Set design by Gideon Ponte.

Alessandra Ambrosio and Kate King are shot by Boo George for Love Magazine. Anders Solvsten Thomsen style the group in classic nautical attire, right through to the captain’s jacket, while the girls play their roles perfectly, managing to mix femininity and sailor-boy charm in every shot. Also in the story, Models 1 boys dominate, With Danny Fox, George Barnett and Sid Ellisdon taking to the decks.

Dree Hemingway for Dansk

Dree is photographed by Joachim Mueller-Ruchholtz for Dansk Magazine, layering a mish-mash of prints and fabrics, from checked cottons to striped knits and fur trimmed coats. Each look is completed with home-made headgear using an assortment of beautifully printed scarfs, and a pair of classic black brogues. Of course, we'd love to try and pull off this look ourselves, but feel that somehow it wouldn't look quite so brilliant...
