JUDI DENCH IS HOLLYWOOD SPY'S BEST BRITISH ACTRESS. NEW POLL: YOUR FAVOURITE BRITISH GENTS PART TWO

Your Favourite British Actress (part one) poll is over and I must say you were a very respectful and profound voters giving the most votes to the best among them, her royal majesty Judi Dench (30%).
Welsh beauty Catherine Zeta Jones took second place (23%), leaving sensual Rachel Weisz (17%) in the third spot.
Now before you start reading my story on the winner, you must first leave your computers and courteously bow in front of her royal majesty, queen Judi Dench. Did it? OK, we can continue :) For some reason, I've never considered Elizabeth II as the English queen but our dear Judi :) She really is royal in every respect. I first fell in love with her watching the amazing and heartwarming sitcom "As Time Goes By" (1992-2005) the most intelligent TV series from BBC about a woman who, at her mature age, meets the love from her youth and they start their romance again as two older people. Amazing show, I'm happy I was able to grow up watching it. Another BBC series I loved her in was the witty, charming and star-studded "Cranford". We all loved her versatile roles in "James Bond", "Nine", "Notes on a Scandal", "Mrs Henderson Presents", "The Chronicles of Riddick", "Ladies in Lavander", "The Importance of Being Earnest", "Iris", "Chocolate", "Tea With Mussolini", "Shakespeare in Love", "Mrs. Brown"... The fact that she has just one Oscar (for the 8 minute role in "Shakespeare in Love") just speaks about the nonsensical criteria of the American Film Academy. But she does have 10 BAFTAs like a true British Dame!
Before "Mrs. Brown" she wasn't overly noticed in cinemas, but she got that legendary role because she told the producer Harvey Weinstein that she had his name tattooed on her bum. It wasn't a real one, she had her make-up lady design something that she just showed him. He had never forgotten that situation :)

Now let us go to our new poll: the second part of YOUR FAVOURITE BRITISH GENTS. The dashing gentlemen competing in this round, our dear cinema knights from Great Britain are: James McAvoy (ATONEMENT, CHRONICLES OF NARNIA), Michael Fassbender (CENTURION, 300, FISH TANK), Gerard Butler (300, ATILA, REIGN OF FIRE), Rufus Sewell (TRISTAN AND ISOLDE, HELEN OF TROY), Jason Isaacs (HARRY POTTER, PETER PAN) , Jason Statham (CELLULAR, TRANSPORTER, LONDON), Damian Lewis (BAND OF BROTHERS, LIFE, COLDITZ), Stephen Moyer (TRUE BLOOD, PRINCE VALIANT). You can vote for them as much as you like in the next two weeks :)

"THE BATTLE OF MIDWAY" NEW WW2 $200 MILLION EPIC. DARREN ARONOFSKY MIGHT DIRECT "WOLVERINE 2". RYAN REYNOLDS AND BRADLEY COOPER AS COP PARTNERS

Here's a movie for the guys: Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper will star together in an untitled action-comedy penned by Sheldon Turner ("Up in the Air"), in which the story follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results. I'm guessing they will also find some cool Bruce Willis type of actors to play their fathers :) It could be fun.

Warner Bros. will make a $200 million WW2 epic "The Battle of Midway" from the creator of "The Pacific". As a turning point in WW2 the battle of Midway took place six months after the demoralizing surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. When it was over, the supremacy of the Imperial Japanese Navy was lost along with four of its aircraft carriers and 1 heavy cruiser. The Japanese never recovered.

Darren Aronofsky, the hubby of our dear Rachel Weisz, is a potential new director for "Wolverine 2". The project has changed a lot of directors so far, but as you know Aronofsky already had a project with the main star Hugh Jackman, back when they made "The Fountain" together.

THE BEST DRESSED ACTRESSES AT LAST EVENING'S EMMY 2010 AWARDS

So, Emmy awards are over, I must admit I'm not a huge fan, since the nominees are always more or less the same and they almost never award the best ones, so let's go straight to the red carpet. I didn't like the red carpet this year either, there was just too much black colour and formless dresses, but here are the few lovely ones: I'm not totally sure who she is but Maria Menounos was the queen of the evening if you ask me. Rose Bourne was also refreshing in her profoundly designed white gown, while Toni Collette, who should've won the award but didn't, looked creative and cute as always in her patterned frock. Jenna Fischer is also someone I've never heard off but her non-pretentious red dress really looked lovely on her.
Claire Danes was lovely although a bit plane in her strapless crystal encrusted Armani, while January Jones had a great Versaci dress but unfortunately also some bad shoes and bad hair. Her colleague from "Mad Men" Elisabeth Moss looked refined even though she also had a bad hairdo. Kim Kardashian was smashing in her Cleopatra dress. I also liked Nina Dobrev and Jewel in their Zuhair Murad gowns.
Now, the only award I did like was the best supporting drama actor which went to amazing Aaron Paul whom I like a lot, and the cutest and the most adorable couple were off course Emily Blunt and her hubby John Krasinski. So, whom did you like best last evening?

Mystery new sound to Amy Winhouse

Amy Winehouse’s producer but she doesn’t still know that what her new album will sound would she like.

Mark Ronson has worked with Amy on her breakthrough album ‘Back in Black’ in 2006, he said currently while he live in the studio with the troubled singer and they recorded a song together for a soundtrack, he doesn’t know anything about how her eagerly anticipated third record will sound. Mark explained: “We did a song together about six weeks ago for a Quincy Jones soundtrack.

“She came up onstage with my band at London’s 100 Club last week and we did ‘Valerie’. She’s a friend. But I don’t know anything about her next album, turely.”

He added to Q magazine: “Oh man … I mean, ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’? ‘Waiting For A Girl Like You’? I wouldn’t actually know how to do it any other way. They don’t make anymore. Something 25 years old and up always sounds better to me. I call that Lenny Kravitz Disease but older stuff is a little better.”

Mark's third album, 'Record Collection' recorded under the name Mark Ronson & The Business Intl will be released on September 27.

STEPHEN MOYER MIGHT BE DR.DOOM IN "FANTASTIC 4" REBOOT. PROMO PIC FOR NEW "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES". NICOLE SCHERZINGER JOINS "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER"

Here's a fresh new "Fantastic Four" reboot update: it seems that 20th Century Fox wants more and more popular Stephen Moyer ("True Blood") to take the role of Doctor Doom. If he accepts the role of the villain, Doctor Doom the master of the mystic art, Stephen Moyer might join Jonathan Rhys Meyers or Adrien Brody who are auditioning for the role of Mr. Fantastic and Alice Eve and Amber Heard, one of whom might become Sue Storm aka The Invisible Woman. There are also rumors that Bruce Willis might give his voice to the CGI The Thing.

After they've officially cast Jeremy Renner beside Tom Cruise in "Mission Impossible IV", Paramount might hire lovely Kristin Kreuk ("Smallville") as a young female operative in the film. Jeremy Renner who will play a partner of Cruises' Ethan Hunt might continue the action film franchise as the new lead character later on if the studio decides to kick Cruise out of the franchise in the future.

As I've promised recently the first promo picture for the upcoming 7th season of "Desperate Housewives" is here and as I also promised the Wisteria Lane has gone Wild West: the focus in the picture is on Vanessa Williams, the new gangsta-lady in the block who will mess things up for Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman. Judging from the promo pic I guess we can expect some big duels and no-rules battles in our favourite TV neighborhood.

In another TV news I bring you the promo poster for the new season of popular "House M.D." with Hugh Laurie who is now lovesick and there's also a charming little update on "How I Meet Your Mother": the cast will have a super-gorgeous addition in the new season since sexy music star Nicole Scherzinger will be a new guest star but her role will be quite significant and not at all minor.

NEW ANIMATED FILMS FROM DREAMWORKS: "IMAGINARY ENEMIES" AND "BOO U". A CUTE NEW POSTER 4 DISNEY'S "TANGLED"

OK, my dear creatures, since Sunday is usually a day with no film news, let's do a relaxing post on some cute new animated projects which are being planned over in Tinseltown: Seth Rogen, who has already given his voice in "Kung Fu Panda" and "Monsters vs Aliens" will voice the lead character in Dreamworks' film with a super charming tittle "Boo U", according to "Heat Vision". Similar to famous "Casper", the story in "Boo U" will follow a ghost who isn't very good at his job so he must go back to school to become better at it :)) This 3D animated project will be directed by Tony Leondis ("Igor").

And take a look at the charming new French poster for Disney's "Tangled", a film which starts when the kingdom's most wanted-and most charming-bandit Flynn Rider (voice of Zachary Levi) is taken hostage by Rapunzel (voice of Mandy Moore), a feisty teen with 70 feet of golden hair who's looking for her ticket out of the tower where she's been locked away for years. After that the unlikely duo sets off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade filled with adventure, heart, humor and hair-lots of hair.

DreamWorks Animation will also make a very innovative film "Imaginary Enemies", which will be told from the point of view of the imaginary friends who had long been used as scapegoats by unscrupulous children looking for someone else to blame for their misdeeds. Eventually fed up, those imaginary people come looking for some payback when the kids are grown up. Mike Mitchell from "Shrek Ever After" might direct this one as well.

BRAD PITT IN "RED DEAD REDEMPTION". JOHN CUSACK IS EDGAR A. POE IN "THE RAVEN". SPIELBERG'S "TERRA NOVA" GETS 1ST ACTORS. "THE 3 MUSKETEERS" PICS

According to "Show Biz Spy" (they are obviously a member of my guild), Brad Pitt will star in "Red Dead Redemption", a big screen adaptation of the popular video game. If this is true, Brad Pitt will take the role of renegade cowboy outlaw John Marston who is forced to hunt down members of his old gang in this Wild West epic with a few modern touches.

Steven Spielberg's ambitious and expensive new TV show "Terra Nova" has got first actors: young Allison Miller and hunky Jason O'Mara. Premiering next year "Terra Nova" will center on humans from the year 2149 who are forced to find a way to save the human race so they go on an expedition through a rip in the time-space continuum that can send them back to prehistoric Earth.

As you know Paul W.S. Anderson is currently shooting 3D adaptation of "The Three Musketeers", and yesterday the first pics from the set have been revealed showing young Logan Lerman with a strange hairdo and Mads Mikkelsen in his dashing costume. The stellar cast also includes Christoph Waltz, Orlando Bloom, Ray Stevenson, Luke Evans, Matthew Macfadyen and Milla Jovovich whom we've already seen in the costume of Milady De Winter.

John Cusack will play Edgar Allan Poe in the thriller "The Raven", based on the author's classic poem and directed by James McTeigue. The film follows the last five mysterious days of Edgar Allan Poe's life, when he gets wrapped up in a serial killer investigation. Joaquin Phoenix, Jeremy Renner and Ewan McGregor were mentioned before in connection with this project, but I don't know whether any of them is still in the cast.

Wedding Anniversary Shoot

50s wedding

It's hard to believe it's been well over a year now since my own 50s style wedding! When the lovely Leanne from Without Equal Photography contacted us to arrange an anniversary shoot how could we refuse!

All those wedding day memories came flooding back as we dressed in our 50s finest and headed to the spot where we had our orignal wedding shoot. I wore the Betsey from Honeypie Boutique and chose to add a splash of red as this colour had been banned on our actual wedding day due to football allegiances!!

50s wedding dress

Leanne and Ricahrd did a fab job of capturing our vintage theme and had even managed to get hold of an original 50s picnic set, radio and newspaper for the shoot. You can check out their website by visiting www.withoutequal.co.uk

3 MESMERIZING NEW TV SPOTS FOR THE EPIC TALE "LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS: THE OWLS OF GA'HOOLE"

A number of fresh new TV spots has been just released for something that promises to be the most magical and the most spellbinding film this year, Zack Snyder's animated epic tale "Legend of the Guardians: the Owls of Ga'Hoole". Check out these videos which reveal some new scenes we haven't seen in the previous trailers for this cinematic treat which many people think equals last year's "Avatar" in visual magnificence and splendor.

With the stunning voice cast including Helen Mirren, Hugo Weaving, Geoffrey Rush, Jim Sturgess, Ryan Kwanten, Sam Neill ... the film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father's epic stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father's favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd's jealousy has terrible consequences, causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga'Hoole, Soren's only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.

ANGELINA JOLIE'S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT IN SERBIA AND BOSNIA. FANS WANT RYAN PHILLIPE AS "IRON FIST". PAUL VERHOVEN GOING EXOTIC IN "THE HIDDEN FORCE"

Angelina Jolie has been traveling around Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia last week, because she is planning to make a movie set in the time of the collapse of Yugoslavia, in the early 90's. She will mark her directorial debut with this film for which she also wrote the story herself. The film will focus on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship. Rade Serbedzija ("Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows") will play the father of the Serbian man. Here in ex Yugoslavia, we don't really like when foreigners make subjective and ignorant films about us, so let's hope Angelina will keep politics out of her project.

For today's superhero update, I have some news on "Iron Fist" film. According to "MovieWeb", Marvel has hired "xXx" screenwriter Rich Wilkes to write the "Iron Fist" comic book movie adaptation. The comic book centers on Danny Rand, a martial arts expert who after killing a dragon gains a mystical power that turns his fists into indestructible weapons. I'm guessing actors will fight for this role. I've noticed that comic book fans around the net are cheering for seriously underused Ryan Phillipe to get this role.
Paul Verhoeven ("Starship Troopers", "Robocop") will go exotic in his new project. He will adapt "The Hidden Force" a book by Louis Couperus which is set in the year 1900 on the island of Java. Set in the exotic Dutch East Indies the story will follow a colonial official who is undone by his willful application of reason to a culture that is steeped in the mystical and irrational.

Even though his daisies aren't blooming, Tom Cruise will do "Mission Impossible IV" and currently a bunch of young actors is apparently auditioning for one of the roles beside him. On the list to join him as his partners in the 4th installment are Anthony Mackie ("The Hurt Locker"), Kevin Zegers ("Air Bud") and Christopher Egan ("Letters to Juliet").

SPIELBERG MAKING "LOCKE AND KEY" TV SHOW. COOL ADD FOR GUCCI WITH CHRIS EVANS & EVAN RACHEL WOOD. "THE HUMAN FACTOR" BRINGS 90'S AND 80'S STARS BACK

According to "Vulture", Steven Spielberg will make a huge TV show based on Joe Hill's "Locke & Key" comic series. Joe Hill is by the way, the son of famous Stephen King. "Locke & Key" is about three kids who end up watching over a secret spooky New England mansion filled with mystical doors that transport them to different worlds and give them special powers, like turning into a ghost.

I'm publishing this one just as an excuse to post the hot pics of the two sexy actors: Sean Patrick Flanery ("Boondock Saints") and Charisma Carpenter ("Buffy", "The Expendables") might star in "The Human Factor" about a newspaper reporter and a renegade police detective who are investigating the disappearance of homeless people in New York. The interesting thing is that the cast might include a whole bunch of 80's and 90's stars: Eric Roberts, Michael Madsen (who is also directing it), Tom Sizemore, Michael Dudikoff, Ben Cross, Luke Goss....

Now, here's something everybody has been talking around the Net in last few days: the cool new commercial for Gucci Guilty fragrance, directed by Frank Miller the writer of famous graphic novels which were (or will be) made into movies such as "300", "The Spirit", "Sin City", "Xerxes". The beautiful Gucci commercial stars our new Captain America Chris Evans and young Evan Rachel Wood.

David S.Goyer ("The Dark Knight", "Batman Begins") has sold film rights on his first novel "Heaven's Shadow" to Warner Bros. according to "Deadline New York". The story centers around a large object that looks to be headed towards Earth. The widespread panic leads to governments competing with each other to be the first to intercept the object, believed to be a meteor, before anyone else, which then leads to the discovery of an alien race that puts the human race in jeopardy.

JONATHAN RHYS MEYERS AND ADRIEN BRODY AS MR. FANTASTIC IN NEW "FANTASTIC FOUR". "LIVES OF MONSTER DOGS" TO BE MADE INTO A SUPER STRANGE FILM

So, this is pretty interesting, it was only yesterday that I mentioned the first casting rumors on the "Fantastic Four" reboot, and today we already have new ones: Adrien Brody and Jonathan Rhys Meyers are apparently two main contenders for the role of Mr. Fantastic aka professor Reed Richards who was played by charming Brit Ioan Gruffudd in the original movie. If you ask me, I'd choose Rhys Meyers.

Chris Wedge, the helmer behind "Ice Age" will make a very strange live-action directorial debut with the adaptation of the postmodern Frankenstein-style novel "Lives of the Monster Dogs". The story revolves around a group of soldier dogs genetically engineered by mad Prussian scientists hiding in a Canadian village. The hyper-intelligent dogs, who walk erect and use voice boxes to communicate, revolt against their masters and, dressed in 19th century formal wear (no, I'm not smoking weed, you read it right), show up in modern New York.

Gary Kurtz one of the producers of "Star Wars" will produce "Panzer 88", a WWII movie with a supernatural twist. The plot will follow the five-man German crew of the Ilsa, a King Tiger - the biggest tank of its day, on a mission to the frigid and fearsome Russian border, where they tread into an ancient mystery by stirring a powerful entity. It will be a reality-based story with horror overtones, and they're aiming to do for the tank genre what "The Hunt for Red October" did for submarine flicks. Check out the first concept art bellow.

AMBER HEARD COULD BE INVISIBLE WOMAN AND KEVIN PENNINGTON THE HUMAN TORCH IN "FANTASTIC FOUR" REBOOT

You know, how Monday is a boring day without news, but we still have the biggest number of visitors on that darn day? :) Well, let's spice this Monday with some rumors. I mentioned some time earlier that Hollywood is preparing a reboot of "Fantastic Four" (don't ask me why, I don't know) and some names have started appearing in the possible cast. First there were talks that sexy Alice Eve has refused the role of the White Queen in "X-Men: First Class" because she was promised the role of Sue Storm (originally played by Jessica Alba) in this reboot. But "Beyond Hollywood" now has some new rumors: they say that actually young Amber Heard ("Zombieland", "The Stepfather") might get the role of Sue Storm, the girl who is inherently shy so when she gains superpowers, it’s to become invisible. On the other hand, young Kevin Pennington ("BH 90210") might get the role of the Human Torch (who was originally played by Chris Evans who has now become a much bigger superhero - Captain America). It was also said that the Thing (Michael Chiklis in original film) will be completely CG in the reboot of "Fantastic Four".

STUNNINGLY EPIC POSTER FOR THE ALIEN INVASION MOVIE "SKYLINE"

Upcoming sf action "Skyline" has just got itself a brand new poster and it's utterly amazing showing some abnormally freakish spaceships above LA skyscrapers. The warning is - DON'T LOOK UP. Starring Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Donald Faison, David Zayas and Crystal Reed, "Skyline" starts when strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame. An extraterrestrial force then threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth and the band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them. The movie premieres this November. You can also check out the spooky and apocalyptic first teaser for "Skyline" bellow, which contains some truly breathtaking scenes of the alien invasion.

SAM WORTHINGTON IN "DRACULA YEAR ZERO". HUGH DANCY AND MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL IN "HYSTERIA". WHO WILL BE THE FEMALE LEAD IN NEW "SPIDER-MAN"?

Earlier this year, I've informed you that Sam Worthington might star in "Dracula Year Zero", a movie to be directed by Alex Proyas ("The Crow", "I Robot"), and now it's official. According to "MovieWeb", the $100 million project will be the origin story of Vlad the Impaler, the Romanian royalty who terrorized his nation and inspired Bram Stoker to create his classic character, Dracula. The production will start in June 2011 in Australia.

Now, here's a crazy piece of news: Maggie Gyllenhaal and Hugh Dancy will star in the romantic comedy "Hysteria", centered on the invention of the vibrator in Victorian-era England. Hugh Dancy will be a doctor in London treating cases of hysteria, a condition said to be characterized at the time by a woman's irritability, anger or unexplained tears. He and his best friend (Rupert Everett) will experiment with a new electrical device for treatment for the ailment. Maggie Gyllenhaal will play the daughter of his colleague :))

Since they've chosen Andrew Garfield to play Peter Parker in the upcoming "Spider-Man" reboot, the producers are now auditioning girls for the main female character, Gwen Stacy. According to "Heat Vision" three lovely young actresses Emma Roberts ("Scream 4"), Teresa Palmer ("Mad Max Fury Road") and Imogen Poots ("Centurion") are top contenders for the role of Spidey's love interest.

JOHN WOO WANTS LIAM NEESON IN "FLYING TIGERS". NEW SPACE OPERA "COBRA THE SPACE PIRATE" BY ALEXANDRE AJA

Now, let's start the day with some sf news: Alexandre Aja (his "Piranha 3D" is out this week) will direct "Cobra the Space Pirate" and adaptation of the Japanese manga. The story follows a space pirate named Cobra who refuses to align with either the United Galaxies Federation or the Pirates Guild, which results in a huge bounty being placed on his head. Hoping to stay one foot ahead of his captors, Cobra teams up with another bounty hunter named Jane who is searching for her sisters in order to decode a treasure map that has been tattooed onto their backs. Together, Cobra and Jane hope to secure a lost treasure hidden somewhere on Mars. Alexandre Aja wants to make a space opera adventure franchise for a new generation with this project. Let's hope he's a good enough man for the task.

Darren Lynn Bousman ("Repo! the Genetic Opera!") will direct an unusual film "11 11 11", which will be released on Friday, November 11, 2011 or 11-11-11 following its tittle. The film will take on the idea of 11 gates of Heaven and how on the 11th day of the 11th month, the 11th gate is going to open up and something from another world will enter the earthly realm for 49 minutes. Some people believe that number 11 alerts them to angels or spirit guardians that try to communicate with them. Conspiracy theorists also like to point to the number 11's involvement in historical events.

John Woo will start shooting his new movie "Flying Tigers" this year in China. Based on a World War II true story, the film will follow Chennault, an American officer who ran the Flying Tigers volunteer fighter-pilot squadron, running missions to fly supplies to Chinese forces while fighting off Japanese aerial forces. Chennault was responsible for training the first generation of Chinese fighter pilots. Liam Neeson will probably play Chennault, while Ye Liu (he was great in "Curse of the Golden Flower") might play a young pilot trainee.

KEVIN SPACEY IS A CULT LEADER IN HBO'S "THE CRUX". JANUARY JONES IS THE WHITE QUEEN IN "X-MEN:FIRST CLASS". SCOTT SPEEDMAN TAKES "THE VOW"

Now this is also becoming a very charming cast: Scott Speedman might join "The Vow", a film which follows a newlywed couple (Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum) who get in a car crash. The wife ends up in coma and when she wakes up she has no memory of her husband or their marriage, so the husband woos her and attempts to win her heart again. Speedman will play McAdams' former fiance, with whom she has a romance while having amnesia.

According to "MovieWeb" HBO has beat out FX and Showtime for the broadcasting rights on "The Crux", the new show which will take place in L.A. and it will focus on a man who leads a multibillion dollar worldwide cult. Now check this out - the charismatic (and probably crazy) cult leader will be played by no one else but Kevin Spacey. As one of the producers said "it really sounds like a perfect marriage between an actor and a role" :)

And we couldn't go without new "X-Men: First Class" casting news, now could we? :) Ice princess January Jones (the gorgeous blond from "Mad Men") will portray Emma Frost or the White Queen, a supersexy superhero with telepathic powers, in the new installment of the mutant saga. She will join Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Kevin Bacon and many others ....

HUGH JACKMAN READY FOR "WOLVERINE II". KATE BECKINSALE RETURNS TO "UNDERWORLD IV" IN 2012

According to "Deadline Hollywood" Hugh Jackman has left comedy film "Avon Man" (about an auto salesman who becomes Avon's door-to-door seller after getting sacked) so that he could prepare for "Wolverine II" which already has the script written and Fox will probably start the production next year. "Wolverine II" should come to cinemas some time in 2012. As I already mentioned before, you will be seeing Hugh Jackman also in "Reel Steel" (A boxing drama set in the near-future where 2,000 pound robots that look like humans do battle), and in "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" (set in 19th-century China and also in the modern age in two parallel stories about the rigid cultural norms set for Chinese women). And there are also some rumors about Hugh Jackman starring in "Incarceron" (which he is also producing), a film about a young boy who lives in a prison that is a complete society, but outside the prison, the world is stuck in the 17th century and run by computers.

This one's for Kate Beckinsale's fans which often lurk around HOLLYWOOD SPY: the fourth installment of "Underworld" will be released in cinemas in January 2012. Starring Kate Beckinsale who returns to the vampire saga and Michael Sheen, "Underworld 4" will satisfy old fans and excite new audiences, by bringing Kate into the story again and introducing some fresh elements as well. I guess she realized her career was quite non-existing without the "Underworld" franchise, so she came back to her trade mark role of beautiful vampire Selene.

RUPERT PENRY JONES IS HOLLYWOOD SPY'S BEST BRITISH GENTLEMAN. NEW POLL: BEST BRITISH ACTRESSES

Oh, so our BEST BRITISH GENTLEMAN poll was officially super exciting with the war raging between Penry Jones and Purefoy fans who behaved as true British sports sending us almost 300 votes :) I don't think we've ever had such a close victory at the end of a poll. Two amazing gentlemen have lead the battle for the tittle, but Rupert Penry Jones won with 102 votes which
was just two votes more than James Purefoy got. Third place was left for Ewan McGregor (25%) with Colin Firth in the fourth spot (23%).

Back when I was planning this poll, I really thought Rupert Penry Jones would be an underdog, since his dashing charms and piercing charisma are known mostly to us who like to watch British television. But I'm more than happy that so many people appreciate his magnetic talent and his outstanding and warm presence shown in series such as "Spooks", "Casanova", "Whitechapel" or in films like "Four Feathers", "Match Point" and "Charlotte Gray" with Cate Blanchett in which he basically stole the show from Billy Crudup. I wish we would see him in some big Hollywood films, but I think he's personally not inclined to such career. Believe it or not, he'll be 40 this year, he's married and he once dated Kylie Minogue :)

James Purefoy is one of those actors who were simply born to play charming bad boys and elegant but naughty heroes. He always shines in period movies and epics "George and the Dragon", "Vanity Fair", "Blackbeard", "Solomon Kane", but we all remember him best in the role of his life as Mark Antony in the legendary TV series "Rome". In the future we shall watch him in some equally heroic and wonderful roles: he will be a brave knight in medieval epic "Ironclad", king Lot in epic series "Camelot", the captain of the kingdom of Helium's royal spaceship in "John Carter of Mars", brave lord Somerset in "Heaven and Earth"... He is still a candidate for James Bond for which he already auditioned back in the time of "Goldeneye". Before starring together as macho Roman heroes in "Rome", he and Kevin McKidd had played gay lovers in "Bedrooms and Hallways" :))

Now, before we go to the second part of British Gents poll in September, lets do the first part of YOUR FAVOURITE BRITISH ACTRESS poll and give lovely British ladies a chance to get your votes. Here are the actresses competing in the first round: her royal highness Judi Dench, Welsh queen Catherine Zeta Jones, Scottish princess Isla Fisher, the crown princess Emily Blunt, Gothic empress Helena Bonham Carter and queen of hearts Rachel Weisz. Vote on people, you have two weeks to give as many votes to these ladies as you like.

GEORGE CLOONEY AS SINATRA AND ANGELINA JOLIE AS MARILYN MONRO IN A NEW MOVIE. ROSE BYRNE IS MOIRA MACTAGGERT IN "X-MEN: FIRST CLASS"

Now this is an odd couple: according to "MovieWeb" George Clooney will play Frank Sinatra while Angelina Jolie will portray Marilyn Monroe in "The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog, and of His Friend, Marilyn Monroe". Now, if that wasn't crazy enough for you listen to this: the film will be a biography of Marilyn Monroe, but told through the eyes of a Maltese poodle named Mafia Honey a.k.a. Maf, who was given to Monroe as a present by Sinatra. I'm speechless.

I'm probably getting boring with "X-Men: First Class" casting process, but it's the boring beginning of the week in the world of film news :) and they have new actors again: beautiful Rose Byrne ("Troy", "Sunshine", "Star Wars") will play Moira MacTaggert, a scientist and an authority on genetic mutation and also the love interest of the mutant telepath professor Charles Xavier played by James McAvoy. Another new actor in the cast is Oliver Platt who will play a mysterious role of The Man in Black and he will not be a mutant.
