Britney Charged with Hit-and-Run, Driving Without License

Britney Spears's bad month just got worse: She has been charged with hit-and-run causing property damage and driving without a valid license, the Los Angeles City Attorney said Friday.

If convicted on both misdemanor charges, she faces up to a year in jail, City Attorney's spokesman Frank Mateljan tells PEOPLE.

The charges stem from a fender-bender in a store parking lot on Aug. 6. Spears, 25, made a wide, right turn into a parking space and scraped another car's bumper. (The incident was captured on video by celeb photo agency X17.)

"According to the DMV, Ms. Spears was never issued a California license – ever," Mateljan says.

The other car's owner filed a police report at a North Hollywood station.

Her arraignment is set for Oct. 10 in a Van Nuys, Calif., court. Pasadena attorney Richard Hutton, best known for representing Paris Hilton in her probation-violation case earlier this year, says California residents must get a California driver's license within their first 10 days as a resident.

Spears has been pulled over several times in recent years with being cited for the license violation. Hutton (who is not involved in the Spears case) says it's possible officers were persuaded she maintains a residence in Louisiana and legitimately considers herself more a Louisiana resident than a California resident.

Overall, Hutton says, the charges are "minor stuff" and Spears could escape with a fine and probation.

The charges are just the latest headache for Spears, who earlier this week was ordered by a judge to undergo random drug tests. The judge in her custody fight with Kevin Federline found that she is a "habitual, frequent and continuous" user of alcohol and controlled substances, and now must submit to random twice-weekly testing.

First off, I want to apologize (again), for not posting any new media. I seriously

am really busy, and I really want to post new stuff for you guys because I really

enjoy having the blog, but my time is limited. I know I'll figure out a way to go to

school, work, and update the blog :) But for now, here are two OFFICIAL versions

Judge: Spears Will Undergo Regular Drug Tests in Order to Keep Her Children

In a closed hearing on Monday, Los Angeles judge Scott M. Gordon set a lengthy list of rules that parents Britney Spears and Kevin Federline must follow in order to retain custody of their sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. The list, revealed today, includes the following shared requirements for the former couple:

·Neither Brit nor K-fed can take Sean and Jayden out of state without the written consent of the other.

·The exes cannot make derogatory statements about each other.

·Both parents must complete the "Parenting Without Conflict" program.

·Each party is restrained from using corporal punishment with the children or allowing anyone else to.

·They are required to engage in joint co-parenting counseling.

·Neither party may consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances 12 hours prior to taking custody of the children.

·They must ensure that any prospective childcare professionals hold valid Red Cross infant CPR training.

While the responsibilities for Federline end there, Judge Gordon tacked on an extra list of tasks for Spears. In order to maintain the current shared custody agreement, the popstar must:

·Attend individual counseling to address parenting issues at least once a week.

·Meet with a parenting coach for a minimum of 8 hours a week, in at least two sessions a week. The coach is to observe her interaction with kids and her parenting skills and then provide Federline with a written progress report by October 22.

·And, "based on the evidence presented, the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances by Petitioner [Spears]," will have to undergo testing for controlled substances and alcohol. The testing shall be conducted twice per week on random dates and times, and the results will be forwarded to the court.

Well you guys, most of us Britney fans (55.2%), not including me and 44.8% :),

believed Britney did a bad performance at the 2007 MTV VMAs. I don't

get why? I mean, many people believed the performance sucked, but it's

just because they thought Criss Angel was going to do something for

the performance. Personally, I think Britney did a great job, and honestly,

after watching her perform this song, I LOVED the song even more :)

Life = Unfair

I have a question: Why is life so unfair? I mean, why is everything bad happening

to Britney Spears? She is the nicest, most sweetest, caring person that exists in the

world. She is always acting goofy and being happy, but why does everything bad happen

to her? Can life be any more unfair right now. People judge her, criticize her, make fun

of her, diss her, and more. But there are also people who love her, don't judge her, and

want the best for her. Maybe after all these lies and all the negative will come peace and

love for her. I pray to God EVERYDAY for her to be happy and have the best,

but surprisingly, it's not happening right now? Why?

Alright you guys, here is a good quality video of Britney's cool performance yesterday

at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards live from Las Vegas. She performed a

medley of Trouble, and her HOT sexy single Gimme More. If you guys wanna see

Now I wanna give my opinion on Britney's performance last night. Personally, I think she

did an AMAZING job for that fact that she was really tense and nervous. I mean, she had

to perform in front of millions, including friends, family, neighbors, critics, media, etc. This

was her first live televised performance since 2004. Now, you also know that her heel was

broken during her performance, so she wasn't able to dance with a lot of energy. And as

you read on my last post, Britney was furious because of what the 'comedian' Sarah Silverman

said about her babies.

I know that the media is already critizing Britney for las night, but why her fans.

Don't her so-called 'fans' understand what Britney has been going through?

Instead of dissing her and stuff, you should be proud that she STILL got in front

of millions and did the performance. This isn't the only performance she is going

to do. Her album is going to be the GREATEST album released, and her

next performances are going to be HOT!!!

What REALLY Happened!!

X17 has uncovered the truth behind Brit's less than energetic

performance tonight.

Check it out -- we're all wondering why Britney looked like she was doing a

dry run rather than a full-on VMAs gig tonight and X17 has the answer!

A source tells X17 Brit found out about Sarah Silverman's crappy line about

Britney's babies just moments before she took the stage to perform "Gimme More."

Needless to say, Britney was PISSED! ... as any mom would be. Britney was so upset

she walked through her performance just to get it over with (despite encouragement

from her friends, including Sam who was apparently yelling at Sarah backstage to skip

out on it all together). She held up her end of the bargain and got a major slap in the

face from Sarah.

song against Cold as Fire (11.5%). Personally, when I heard both songs the first time

I liked Cold as Fire more because we had already heard the beginning, and I guess I

was interested in that song more. But after listening to Gimme More, well more, I

LOVED the song, so in conclusion, Gimme More is my favorite too!!! But still, a lot

of people say Cold as Fire is a sucky song, but I don't understand why. It's pretty hot

Britney Spears was recruited to open MTV's Video Music Awards

"to make a statement," the show's producer says, officially confirming weeks of

reports that the singer will perform. "I wanted to start the show in a very big and

dramatic way, and she's the one to do that," VMA executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic

tells MTV.com. "She'll captivate everyone, and set the tone for rest of the night."

Spears consulted with illusionist Criss Angel on "some moments of the performance"

for Sunday night's show at the Palms Hotel and Casino, says Ignjatovic, who also

confirmed that she'll perform her single "Gimme More" from her upcoming album.

"You can expect the things we want and expect from Britney – that will all be there,"

he says. "What I've see of it is great. She'll be dancing, performing, dong her thing.

That's exactly what we all want."

Spears has been frequently spotted with Angel in Los Angeles and Las Vegas,

most recently at the opening of LAX Nightclub last weekend at the Luxor.

Important Blog News!!

Alright you guys, here is the deal: I started college and just started working,

which means that I will have less time to post Britney stuff. I will start to post

stuff late at night, so maybe once you see it here, it might have been posted in

other sites first. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET ABOUT THE BLOG!! I really don't want

to closethe blog because I have a lot of fun providing Britney stuff for you guys,

and I'mstarting to get used to it everyday :)

Now, about the Britney tracks being leaked. I decided to post them in the

blog because according to Ubritney, a reliable source, has said that they are

really demos. This does not mean that I will be posting her OFFICIAL album tracks.

I'm posting the leaked demos because we haven't had new songs for about 3 years already.

It's like if we're getting 2 albums in 2 months :)

Also, I really want you guys to comment on the posts I do. I mean, a lot of people

visit the site, but I only get up to 2 comments on the posts. I really do spend time posting

Well you guys, here are 4 new songs that have been leaked. I can't imagine why they are

starting to leak new Britney songs, but I've read that someone from Jive is doing it.

I guess they want to promote new Britney music for everyone to be ready for the

comeback. I just hope that these songs aren't included in the album because then we'll

get NEW and MORE songs :) Anyways, enjoy these songs

The Real Deal About the New Leaked Tracks

According to reports, the new Britney tracks that leaked today

(except Everybody) all appeared on a demo CD that was recorded in 2005 for

The Original Doll album. Because the songs won't be used, Jive records decided to

send them to different sources so they'd leak them and this way, make good promotion

for Brit's new album by giving a preview of the new sound she's going for and to also give

fans something to listen to until the new record is out. About 18 more demos are said to

become available throughout the week.

Leaked 'Cold as Fire' Not Original??

I found this Cold as Fire version, and it's supposed to be the ORIGINAL VERSION.
Personally, I DON'T believe the song is supposed to be this way. It sounds like a
fan did this with Windows Movie Maker or something. If you remember, we
heard the beginning while she was in her car, and it sounds like the leaked one.
But, you guys have your own opinion :)
